The Moorefield Industrial Park is located in the beautiful South Branch Valley one-half mile south of Moorefield on U.S. Route 220. This land is located above the 100-year flood plain and is zoned for industrial use. The park is currently full, but South Branch Valley Railroad has an adjacent property available for sale to a rail user. - Electricity—Allegheny Power Company provides three-phase service directly to the site.
- Telephone & Internet—Hardy County boasts a modern telecommunications infrastructure. Hardy Telecommunications, Inc., a non-profit cooperative established in 1953 to serve the needs of area residents, operates a fiber-to-the-home network with a fiber-optic ring encircling its coverage area offering broadband internet, television and telephone service. Frontier also offers internet and telephone service in the area. This enables businesses to enjoy the latest innovations in wireline technology as well as broadband internet, allowing local industries to easily promote and market their products worldwide. Hardy Telecommunications currently offers broadband internet to 99.9 percent of its coverage area.
- Natural Gas—Natural gas service is provided by Mountaineer Gas.
- Public Water and Sewer—The town of Moorefield provides water service by means of a six-inch water line. Sanitary sewer service is provided by the town of Moorefield through an eight-inch transmission line.
Transportation
- Air—Grant County Airport, 12 miles away, offers a 5,000-foot, paved, lighted runway. While it is not a controlled field, it accommodates private and executive aircraft with approved instrument approaches. Dulles, National, Baltimore-Washington and Pittsburgh International Airports are all located within a 100+ mile radius of Hardy County.
- Highway—State-owned and maintained, paved access roads connect the park site with U.S. Route 220. This property is located 45 miles from I-81 and I-66 which provide access to all major markets in the mid-Atlantic states. Eight common carrier motor freight lines serve the area. Water—The Port of Baltimore is located 158 miles from this site and provides shipping service with a 42-foot channel. The Potomac River is the nearest navigable waterway and Front Royal, Va., is an Inland Port only 60 miles away.
